Linking up today for the ginormous Red, White and You Follower Fest! What are you doing today? Soakin' up some rays? Grillin' out? Are you on a boat? This little gal right here has already spent quality time with some friends eatin' hotdoggies and RW&B cupcakes, moved stuff out of my apartment in the 98 degrees heat, spray painted some thrift-store furniture, and I'm about to eat some delicious Chuys and watch some fireworks at my soon-to-be alma mater!

Well, whatever you're doin' just take a moment to remember how we got here, and the sacrifices that so many brave women and men are making to ensure that we get to continue to let freedom ring :) 

Below, I've got for you a delicious little summer cocktail that will leave your toes tinglin' and have you singin' "I'm Proud To Be An American" with the rest of your pals. It's my take on Ronny's "Ron Ron Juice" from Jersey Shore. Hah! Enjoy and let me know how it comes out if you try it!

Ran Ran Juice

1 large watermelon

Strawberry Vodka

Orange Liquor

Lime (for garnish)

1. Slice up that watermelon and stick it in the blender with ice.
2. Pour equal parts of Strawberry Vodka and Orange Liquor into the blender.
3. Blend (duh).
4. Take the blender and pour it into a large pitcher
5. Repeat until there's no more watermelon left. You should have poured about 10 shots total into the pitcher but I suppose you can always reduce that number if you're not Irish like me! Be warned, Ran Ran Juice is extremely delicious and goes down smoothly, so pace yourself and enjoy!!
